With selfless faith…
Day 2, 11th December 2007
Day 2 started with me waking up at 7am, freezing to death, simply because our room didn’t have the air-cond remote and thus I couldn’t change the temperature, nor stop it from blowing at my face the entire night.
Anyway, walked up all the way again for breakfast and ended up disappointed at the food quality. This year’s HUGE presented Fear Factor Live and it started from 9-10am. There were 34 contestants that signed up and the preliminary round required contestants to stuff a tissue up 1 side of the nose, and blow it as far as you can into the audience.
Haha, disgusting I know, but thats very very mild. Trust me. Anyway, the top 10 finalist were chosen with the furthest tissues being blown.
The top 10 finalist were required to eat cow’s brain(no kidding) and swallow some concoction which looked like puke(Take note, I said LOOK like). But I bet it tasted disgusting as well. From there, the top 5 finalist were chosen.
Anyway, after that, we had the first session with Pastor Mike Pilavachi. I’ve never laughed so much till I cried before, and trust me, he’s like ‘da bomb’. His expressions are priceless, his jokes are hilarious, but yet, the way he brought the message, it hit straight in at the end of all the laughter.

Blur pic, but meet Mike Pilavachi. ‘The Original Greek’ as he calls himself, cause his parents are Greek, who migrated to the UK. His UK slang is hilarious.
Then, had a short break, before we had Pastor Phil Stevenson from Aussie. Another joker, so you can imagine how much we laughed at every session.

Okay, so I don’t have a good camera. Soon. xD
After lunch, we had a team from Life College who came to talk about ‘Habituts’ which is a combination of Habits and Attitudes. It was a very interactive session. Learned quite a bit here and there as well.

I forgot her name, but she was motivating. lol…
Had futsal right after that, and my team made it to the quarter finals for the following day, though it was drizzling slightly when the competition started. Anyway, had dinner, and the food was once again disappointing.
The night session was awesome, with the Metro Tabernacle Band taking the stage. They were by far the best band among the rest, no offence to the other bands. Haha!

We had Mike Pilavachi again for the night session. xD
Anyway, that was about it. Night sessions ended around 11-ish, and we slept close to 1am. I endured the freezing temperatures every night. Day 3 coming up.
Matt
