You look beautiful tonight…
So, I’ve finally forced, yes, thats the word, “forced” myself to sit down and blog. Its not my fault really. I’m just extremely lazy, or just tired, probably due to the stack of assignments that are yet to be done. God help me.
My family decided to go for a much deserved holiday after Andrew’s ordeal. Besides, my parents really needed the holiday. Decided to go to Malacca to spend 3 days. So, lets get started shall we?
Day 1, 19th November 2007
Started out with me going off to college for my morning class from 11-1pm, but it turned out that class ended early, and I wasted my time going to class. Came back, had lunch, and we were off.
After a short 2 hour journey, we reached our destination, Everly Malacca Resort, or some sort. Hahaha. Anyway, there were some minor complications regarding check-in, but we managed to get our suite.
So, while waiting, took a picture of the pool.

And yes, the resort faced the beach. xD
Since the suite was located at the 8th floor, we had a rather nice view from the top.

The view was well…kampung-ish.

The “mini bar” in the ’suite’.
So, after chilling, relaxing in, and bathing, we went off for our dinner. Drove around pretty aimlessly, but finally found this place with loads of yummy food. So, on the first night, we ate here…

McQuek’s Satay Steamboat Recipe! Or more better known as ’satay celup’.

In addition, we had ‘Nyonya Ikan Bakar’ which tasted absolutely heavenly.
After dinner, made our way back, bought some tidbits from the local supermarket, and some waffles as extras, before adjourning back to our hotel for some movie session on Astro.

Forgive me. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of myself with the big mirror in my room. Yes, I’m vain. So sue me! Taken before I turned in for the night. Good night Malacca.
Before I sign off today, will update a lil on today. Had classes, and I drove Yan and Gloria to Midvalley to do some window shopping and lunch. Ate at C-Jade Express.

This chicken wings are one of the best I’ve eaten. You’ve got to try these when you do come here to eat. Seriously!
I had some pork ribs rice but I forgot to snap a picture of it. >.<” That shows how hungry I was.

Yan finally smiled for the camera. Hahaha! Decent enough to post up and not get physically abused the next time I see her in college. =P
After lunch, went back to college for Law class, and then, went for some gaming. That was about it for today. Thank you to those who actually bother reading this blog. = )
Day 2 of the Malacca trip will come in my next post. Back to assignments! Bwargh!!!
Matt
