Its goodbye…

•March 30, 2008 • 2 Comments

Alright. A new blog is up. So, its goodbye to wordpress. I hate moving blogs, but I’ve done it so many countless times already. Anyway, wordpress has served me well. Here’s the link to my new blog.

http://knackforcrap.blogspot.com

Nothing’s really changed, except the fact that I will be putting up more pictures(hopefully) and more content with substance. Till then, goodbye wordpress.

Celebrating change…

I’m not very pleased at all. I still remembered how I said that this would be my long term blog, but now, I’ve reached a dead end. Why bother staying here when I’m unable to edit my themes? Its all about the money.

I think its time to shift. Will update and post up my new blog address once I’ve decided on which blog to use. Probably a good chance to start afresh(again!). Suggestions anyone?

This weekend’s crucial derby clash, featuring…

Photobucket
For the benefit of those who can’t see, its Liverpool against Everton.

This matchup should prove interesting, especially at this crucial part of the campaign when only 2 points separate these 2 teams from the coveted spot. As always, at Anfield, Everton stand no chance whatsoever. I’ll eat my words back if they pull off a wonder win. You’ll Never Walk Alone!

Entering the weekend, I look back and think to myself, “Hmm, this week hasn’t been that productive.” If you take into account the amount of exercise, then perhaps it would be a lil bit of an achievement for me personally. However, jogging bundled with football perhaps would all be wasted whenever I satisfy my ever growing appetite which I’m having a hard time trying to control.

I had yet another session of jogging at the Taman Tun park yesterday morning, but I guess I made it up after with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gonna have to start going to gym soon enough. Jogging and football just isn’t enough to lose weight. I take it as more of a maintenance job than actually losing weight.

Managed to hand in my research topic yesterday, but I highly doubt it’ll come back without any red marks all over calling for me to redo my objectives.

Photobucket
I just had to take this. Excuse my self indulgence.

Headed off for cell group at night, but got caught in a massive jam in what was supposed to be a shortcut through the Kerinchi Link. Ended up paying RM1.50 to take the longer way. Arrived late, but it was all good.

Photobucket
Managed to steal this picture with Yi Ling. xD

Reached back pretty early, and then headed off to bed to turn in for the night. I’m somehow having problems disciplining myself to start my assignments. I guess its time to start now. Assignments are piling up.

Also planning to purchase my own camera soon. Anyone knows a whole lot about cameras? I’ll need to check out the price ranges of cameras before deciding on which to purchase. Cheers to a great weekend.

Been busy with the usual stuff recently. Played futsal, football today, and etc. The mundane stuff. Been busy enough to not think about how I’ve been feeling recently, which is a good thing. Have been taking in really ‘guilty’ food recently, lunch at McD’s today being the latest guilt trip.

Kinda wondering if anything exciting will be happening anytime soon. On another note, I almost forgot.

Happy Birthday to Rodney and Derrick on your birthdays on the 24th and the 25th respectively! Hope this year brings you many more blessings than you could ever imagine!

Here’s some random pictures from today’s lunch.

Photobucket
Yes, Danial was actually posing when I asked him to.

Photobucket
No comments. Nothing should be said about this boy, except that he’s advertising for an almost completely eaten Fillet O’ Fish. xD

Photobucket
Yan caught candidly. She does not know about this picture. =P

Yeap, football was terrific today. It did not rain, and we had a good 5 on 5 match. And so, thus ends my day. Not very interesting, considering I have not been doing my blogging duties. Before I end this boring post, I would like to show you something interesting that caught my neighbourhood’s attention.

Photobucket
Yes, a monkey was caught roaming on the roof of my house. This was taken exactly at the section of my roof. It was just above my mum’s car.

The naughty weasel had to catnap a kitten with him/her for some reason. The poor kitten could be heard meowing away the whole day. It was a bit sad, but my neighbours managed to trap the monkey, and he is now happily in some park in Shah Alam.

I’m a lil proud of myself, cause I managed to actually sit down, do some research, and start on my assignment. However, I’m starting to think I did it wrongly. =( Oh well…thus an end to a boring post. I can’t have emo posts everytime I blog can I? So I’ll have it at intervals between alternate posts. =P

That would be all. Au revoir!

Matt

PS: How do you balance love and hate? You can’t, cause love conquers all. Thats how Matt became an idiot. xD

What do you know? You know nothing…

•March 23, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Liverpool ended their run of 7 successive wins with a trouncing by premier league holders Manchester United. After having Mascherano sent off for apparent dissent, it was over for the outsiders of the title.

Having said all that, I end my weekend on a low note. On the bright side, at least it wasn’t as bad as last weekend. You’ll Never Walk Alone!

I truly advise you against reading the next part of this post.

Instructions: Remove ONE question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all.

1. What have you realised recently?
I realised that I have not let go of the past, and yes, it makes me feel really stupid. Sucks to be stuck in that time yeah? = )

2. Have you given your first kiss away?
Yeah, I have.  Don’t ask me if I had any regrets, cause I had none. xD

3. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 3 blog buddies you would take with you? Why?
#Khye Ren, cause we used to talk a lot. See, I wrote your name! Not like someone. *cough cough* xD

#Linda, cause I have not seen her in ages, and I miss the good old days.

#Michelle, haven’t seen her in like ages.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Australia. There’s also Hawaii, Switzerland, and Italy.

5. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
I don’t know what to dream anymore. I guess I dream of a fruitful life, serving Him and doing His work.

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Its proven scientifically, what do you think?

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
My life, seriously…

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Pray for wisdom to use it wisely.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Yeah, but I guess there are times you just can’t confess to him/her anymore.

10.List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Khye Ren – Kiasu(Haha, kidding). Well, she’s nice, sweet, and a good listener.

Be yourself, accept that we’re both imperfect, and that we’re bound to be mistakes. But most of all, love me for who I am.

12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Hate is such a strong word. I dislike…I don’t know. Normally I don’t really dislike people. Even if I do, its temporary. Bah…

13. What is your ambition?
Director of a multinational company.

14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?

15. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Love.

16. Are you a shopaholic or not?
No, but I do admit, I tend to spend sometimes without budgeting.

17. Find a word to describe the person who tagged you.
Awesome. Hahaha!

18. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
I’m too judgemental, really look down on myself sometimes, and tend to really get overjealous over small things.

19. What makes you smile, that constantly makes you happy?
Hanging out with my friends.

20. How do you feel now?
Weird. Haha, yes, weird I know.

I Tag: The first 8 people that visit my blog. That means as long as you visit, you’re entitled to do this tag. = )

Needless to say, I didn’t really have much of a weekend. I’m supposed to be in Hartamas now, but its been cancelled, and yes, I’m missing the Man United match against Liverpool. I guess I’ll have to check out the results tomorrow. Ugh…

This week is packed with research, and I finally have to start on my assignment. So dead tired of all this nonsense. I just wanna sleep. I don’t even have the mood to blog.

Okay, I know this post is stupid, but when I’m psycho, I’m full of myself. This may be a corny post, but sue me. I just like to see more of my face on the internet. Bleah…

Its the 21st of March, and 19 years ago, someone was born…

Happy Birthday Mich Mich! xD

Sorry I can’t celebrate with you. Hope you had a great birthday! I will definitely celebrate with you the next time I see you. I owe you a belated birthday treat already. Miss ya loads! Hope to see you real soon! Remember to organize that yam cha sessions. = )

Also, 2000+ years ago, God sent His only Son to take all our sins, and hang on the cross so that we might have salvation and have eternal life.

Happy Good Friday!

Thank You Lord for what You did. Nobody can ever repay You for what You did. Thank You for Your love to not only me, but to the whole world, to each and everyone of you out there. God loves you! Get used to it. xD

College today was filled with drama. Seems like the emo cloud is still hanging around, and Mr. Gideon’s sarcasm throughout didn’t help. Poor Danial was pissed off with someone’s overboard sarcasm. Drama day indeed! My topic got rejected, and I’m forced to do a 3rd research topic for my proposal. This time however, I managed to ask from him for a topic. Lets hope I can obtain information from the net and hopefully from books, articles, and journals later.

Went yam cha with Danial and Adam after college, before Danial dropped me back. Just finished watching this…

Photobucket
Alvin and the Chipmunks!

Well, it was pretty okay. Forgive me for being corny, but they were extremely cute. Theodore was adorable. Okay, cheesy moment over. The movie was alright, but I can say that its really really predictable. The plot somehow seems just too familiar, and needless to say the ending was all too predictable.

Verdict: 6/10

Well, after jogging, it does have its effect, and no, I don’t mean physically. I’m just tired. Gonna turn in for the night. This week’s interesting lineups…

Manchester United vs Liverpool @ Old Trafford

Chelsea vs Arsenal @ Stamford Bridge

Will probably be at Breakers for the Liverpool match. Exciting indeed! Till then, have a great weekend. Hopefully, this weekend won’t be the same as last weekend’s. xD

Listening to: Look After You – The Fray

Rather emo-ish song, but I like it. xD Half the day of my public holiday is gone. Haha, how sad. Hopefully futsal is on tonight, and maybe a movie later. = )

I’ve found out that investment really does cover a whole lot of things. I’m not talking about investing in stocks and shares, but I’m talking about literally everything you get yourself into, or in anything that you purchase. I learned a valuable lesson yesterday, and it took me a while. No wait, that didn’t sound right. It took me a while damn LONG to realize that investments involve risks.

Just like how the stock exchange fluctuates, and the expression of watching your shares and its price crash down the stock market, was how I used to feel. Yet, there are times when you’ll never know, the price of it increases once more. Its just a matter of time…

And here’s the point. There are times, when you’re forced to sell your shares due to its low profitability, and you might wonder, what if the price actually increases in the future, and it really does. What will be your reaction then? I’m glad to say that I’m learning to invest wisely sometimes, not all the time as yet, and to see my biggest share increase in its price, but yet in the end, I’m glad I sold it off. No point having shares that keep you there and do not progress.

Yeah, that was my rant for the day. Rather business-like, no? Nah, just very thankful. Last week of slacking, before I move into full gear to cut down the pile of assignments that are stacking up.

A bottle of rum…

Woke up early, again! Today is breakfast day, so we had breakfast at Kota Damansara, again, but this time, Shakeer came to join us before heading back to Singapore. Was nice catching up with him. Headed back to Kho’s class, who has lost my utmost respect, due to him not giving her the slides regarding the assignment. Wasted 1 whole period, and lunch hour was wasted at McD’s.

Went back for Maniam’s class, which was equally boring. Then, had “futsal” at the basketball court, in the rain. Awesome stuff, and now, my ass still hurts from last week’s futsal. Feels like I’ve gotten a spanking from someone, a real good spanking. Muscle cramps…>.<”

Anyway, tomorrow’s a public holiday, and I have possibly futsal tomorrow night, and an outing tomorrow, to somewhere. Plans undecided. Oh well, just gonna enjoy my holiday, cause its the last holiday before a whole stretch of studies before our next holiday. God knows when we’ll have our next holiday.

Photobucket
A random picture of Adam at McD’s playground. He’s a lil too old for this isn’t he? xD
